Must read article, this article shows how youth needs to empower their abilities and how to confront Anti-social elements of society.

‘India demands the quality of youth not a time of life but a state of mind, a temper of will, a quality of imagination, a predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease’

Youth is the vertebral Column and is representing the ‘new advance’ India with young mindsets, young visions and new perceptions. This is ostensible that the youth are leaders of great Indian future. In our society, the bulk of work is being done by the youths and youngsters make up a major proportion of the work force.

The Indian youth of today deliberately needs to be empowered, their own power and potential needed to be utilized in a stable and accurate way. Youth needs to be given authority, a platform, a structure where they can possibly input their caliber & focus. Their contribution towards the infrastructure of the country, politics, education, employment, sports; technology, globalization and industrialization need to be empowered. The irony and the loophole of the present time and the present system of the country is that, the strengths and the merits of youth are not utilized and explored. Young people are unemployed, illiterate, idle, inactive, exploited and sometimes misguided.

Importance of education:

Education helps in the mental and intellectual nourishment and growth of a person. Without education an individual cannot progress intellectually, and cannot develop skills and capacities to work. Education fosters the enlightenment, empowerment and emancipation of society. Without education a society will be socially, economically and politically backward. Education is what serves to make a nation strong, capable, powerful and resilient, and take it forward. Education is, therefore, very important for every individual person, and as a whole for every society and nation. Hence, education must be available to all the children and youth of a nation without any discrimination.

Education is the foundation of our life. If we lack education, we cannot live life meaningfully in harmony with all that surrounds us. Education gives us the information and knowledge that we need to live productive lives.

Education Enriches and Enlightens the Mind and Intellect

Education pertains to what we acquire and attain through scholastic and academic learning, as also through other means such as experience and experiment that enlightens our mind and intellect. Through the enrichment of our minds and intellects we become knowledgeable as also aware and sensitive to all that makes up our life. Education can also assist us in the fulfillment of our spiritual aspirations.

We are enlightened about our life through various streams of learning and study of the many different sciences and arts. Learning may be through the formal system of education as also through the informal system of education.

Education Promotes a Nation’s Social, Economic and Political Progress

All children and youth must have access to education. It is only when all people are educated that the entire society can benefit from education. If certain sections of society are denied education, development in society will be lopsided.

Education can bring about the social, economic and political progress of a nation. Social justice is the natural outcome of education for all people in society. Education can help in ensuring freedom, liberty and justice for all sections of society.

Education must be Accessible for Growth and Development

Social ills and economic backwardness are the consequences of lack of education. Lack of women’s empowerment, caste-ism, alcohol and drug abuse, violence and intolerance as also incidents like rape are issues that plague a society which does not have access to universal education. Similarly, poverty, malnutrition and poor health care are related to lack of education. If education is accessible to all people, without any discrimination of gender, religion, caste and social or economic standing, the entire society can benefit and advance forward.

Is youth being misused or any Career in politics?

Young people are often excluded or overlooked as political candidates. Politics is typically regarded as a space for politically experienced men, and while women are often disadvantaged in accumulating experience to run for office, young people are systematically marginalized because of their young age, limited opportunities, and projected lack of experience. As the increased political participation of women benefits society as a whole, the presence of young people in decision-making positions benefits all citizens and not just youth. All national and state based political parties need to look on facts which are going to mention in next paragraphs.

Youth needs to be aware on biased promises and mishandling intentions

Youth is being played by Political parties nowadays, parties and their leadership needs young active blood to run on their command. ‘How do they misuse of gullibility of youth and makes them work on finger tips; here how it works; by forming various youth groups as such terms youth wings, youth federations and so on by adding name youth in it to lure young people towards their parties, which called “Smart move” for political parties. They always prefer to nominate their old faces and old known leaders instead of promoting and nominating young people in their parties unfortunately, no one cares for those youth who did the maximum ground work with dedication and are the real face to get awarded.

Youth of today is very hardworking, willing to work and very competitive in every field; they do not need hollow sympathies from leaders.

The political scenario is changing. The youth of India is coming forward to take the responsibility of the nation. Be it as a legacy from their parents or at the grass-roots levels, in colleges. However, the youth in their ignorance, and in many cases in their lack of knowledge, can also be a live bomb in the hands of the veteran politicians, ready to be detonated at their own convenience.

Today is the day for literacy and information. But literacy and information do not necessarily mean Knowledge. Knowledge here would mean the ability to differentiate between Right and Wrong. The youth is like wet clay ready to be molded, and in many cases the politicians take advantage of this situation and mold the clay to suit their requirements. Brain washing and coercion are also common place occurrences, where the politician takes advantage of the gullible innocence and ignorance of the youth.

‘Our youth are not failing the system; the system is failing our youth. Ironically the very youth who are being treated the worst are the young people who are going to lead us out of our nightmares;

The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire nation. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future. No segment in the society can match with the power, idealism, enthusiasm and courage of the young people.
