BUDGAM, JULY 24: Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Budgam Khurshid Ahmad Sanai today inspected the progress of various ongoing works in Chadoora Tehsil of the district.
Exen PMGSY Aftab Ahmad, Tehsildar Chadoora Javed Ahmad and senior officers from revenue and line departments accompanied the ADDC.
On the occasion, the ADDC inspected Rs 13.85 crore Hanjura-Brenwar road project. The 11-kilometre long road is being constructed under PMGSY.
The ADDC directed the concerned to ensure that standard material is used for the construction of the road. He emphasized on the completion of the work on drainage network adjacent to the road well before the blacktopping of the said road.
During his tour, the ADDC lifted samples of the material being used for the construction of the road at various spots for lab testing to check the standards of the materials used by the contractors.
He directed the concerned to expedite works on the road project and related works including roadside protection walls, drainage and widening of the road.
Meanwhile, ADDC also met various public delegations and ensured them that all of their genuine grievances would be addressed on priority.
During his inspection of Nayabat office at Surasyar, the ADDC directed the construction of boundary wall around it and directed concerned to ensure prompt redressal of public issues.
The ADDC also directed the concerned to remove the encroachment on the government Kahcharai land in the area and settle all the revenue extracts hampering various developmental projects in Chadoora.
He also asked the Revenue authorities to submit CSR report on the development and employment generation by the 7.5 MW Brenwar Hydro Electric Power Project.
