Budgam T 20 Cosco Cricket Tournament 2018 inaugurated

Budgam, 26th July: Budgam T20 Cosco Cricket Tournament-2018 was inaugurated by Sh. Tejinder Singh, IPS SSP Budgam at district police lines, Budgam. Sh. Rasiq Mir, DySP DAR, DPL Budgam and other officers were also present at the inaugural function. The tournament is being organised by District Police Budgam. In this tournament more than 90 teams are participating
On the inaugural day two matches were played. The first match of the day was played between Soibug XI (98/7) and YCC Zoorgund (64/all out) in which Soibug XI emerged as winners by 34 runs. In the second match between Furious Fasts CC (68/all out) and Imran CC Bage Mehtab (69/6), later emerged as winners by 4 wickets). The aim of holding such events is to inculcate the sense of sportsmanship and amity among the participants.
