SAMBA, AUGUST 4: A Special drive has been conducted today for removal of encroachments in shape of temporary/permanent structures, Ramps, Tin Sheds, Sheds, Signage, Hoardings from Vijaypur Main Chownk to Gurah Morh. Two teams were deployed and 4 JCB, 4 tractor and approximately 35 labours were arranged for this drive.
The encroachment removal team was led by Deputy Commissioner, Samba Sushma Chouhan while SSP Samba Anil Kumar Pangotra, DSP Baljeet Singh, EO Municipality, Ajay Sanghra, SHO Darshan Singh, Naib Tehsildar and representatives of NHAI were also present during the drive in which more than 120 temporary/permanent structures were removed.
The general public particularly residing on highway are requested to remove encroachment by their own otherwise suitable action will be initiated against them and encroachment shall be removed.
