White House NationalSecurity Advisor, John Bolton has said that North Korea has not taken necessarysteps towards scrapping its nuclear program.
In an interview to a news channel,Bolton said the United States has lived up to the joint statement issued afterthe summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Unin June. He said the US needs performance from North Korea ondenuclearization.
Meanwhile, at the Conference on Disarmament at theUnited Nations European headquarters in Geneva yesterday, the North Koreandelegate said pressure through sanctions is not an absolute solution.
