GANDERBAL, AUGUST 10: An awareness-cum-training program on Format IV of Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System (AEBAS) was organized today here under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Naseer Ahmad Wani
The meeting was attended by ACR Ganderbal, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Agricultural officer and other officials from the district administration.
During the camp, threadbare discussions were held regarding procurement of AEBAS equipment and resolution of various technical issues regarding installation of equipment.
On the occasion, ADC stressed for the installation of AEBAS bio-metric devices in all offices of the district. He said that with the installation of the AEBAS employees will have to mark their daily attendance on time and this will improve the work culture in the district and will have a significant impact on the overall governance system in the district.
During the workshop, ADC asked the concerned officials to finalize the list of the total number of employees working in their respective departments in a detailed prescribed format IV, the installation and commissioning of AEBAS devices with internet access in every office in the district and regular marking of attendance by the employees.
He emphasized upon the DDOs that all government employees drawing salary, wages, honorarium etc, would have to be enrolled in the AEBAS system. He said that it will be the duty of the concerned DDOs to ensure enrollment as well as attendance of employees.
