DDC Udhampur convenes meeting with DLTFC, Bankers
UDHAMPUR, AUGUST 11: District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Ravinder Kumar today held a meeting with District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC), under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) in the Conference Hall DC Office Complex, Udhampur.
In the meeting, 111 cases were put up before the District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) to scrutinize the eligible cases for loan. Out of these 38 cases were sponsored by District Industries Center, 73 cases by KVIB, for establishment of small scale units during the current fiscal year. The perspective entrepreneurs interacted with task force committee.
DDC enjoined upon the members to ensure timely disbursement of the cases so that the purpose of the scheme of providing employment opportunities to the unemployed youth could be achieved. He also stressed upon them to organize various skill development programmes for the prospective entrepreneurs.
DDC instructed the bankers to extend their proactive support to the beneficiaries under the scheme and ensure settlement of pending claims so, that the PMEGP targets for the year can be achieved.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Arvind Sharma, General Manager DIC Suram Chand Sharma, Chief Planning Officer Rajeev Bhushan, Director RSETI Rajeshwar Kumar Gupta, District Officer KVIB Tilak Raj, Cluster Head J&K bank Vijay Kumar and other District Officers and Bankers were present on the occasion.
