The Indian Space Research Organisation will celebrate tomorrow the 99th birth anniversary of its first Chairman Vikram Sarabhai, known as the father of space science in India.
A bust of Dr.Sarabhai will be unveiled at ISRO headquarters in Bengaluru on Sunday by distinguished space scientist Dr.K.Kasturirangan. He will also deliver Vikram Sarabhai talk on this occasion.
The present Chairman of ISRO, Dr.K Sivan will be present on this occasion. Sarabhai was honoured with Padma Bhushan and posthumously Padma Vibhushan for his yeoman service in the field of science in India.
