Met department warns of heavy rain across the country in next 2 days

The MeT department has forecast heavy rain in a number of states across the country for the next two days.

Scientist at the MeT department, Charan Singh said, heavy rain will occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Odisha, Coastal Karnataka, Chhattisgarh and northeastern states among others.

Mr Singh also said, the Monsoon is at its peak, with several states having received good rainfall.
