Union Home Minister for State Kiren Rijiu has said that Central Government is paying special attention to the development of border areas. He was speaking to the media persons at Recongpeo in Kinnaur district of Himachal today.
Shri Rijiju expressed satisfaction on central government schemes running in the region .He also commended the synergy of the army and local administration for the development of border area .
During his visit the minister also addressed the meeting of officers and jawans of ITBP at Recongpeo. Later, he distributed waste bins to locals under Swachh Bharat Mission. Shri Rijiju will also reward BSF participants of the 11 day para bicycle rally in Manali tomorrow.
