The MeT department has warned of heavy rain in Odisha in the next two days. Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said, the low pressure, formed over northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood under the influence of a cyclonic circulation, is likely to trigger heavy rain in many parts of the State.
In view of the adverse weather conditions, the MeT centre has advised fishermen not to venture into the sea during next 48 hours.
Most parts of Odisha have been lashed by heavy rain under the influence of several spells of low pressure areas since early this month.
