World Hindi Conference: Sushma Swaraj to inaugurate Panini Language Laboratory in Mauritius

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will inaugurate “Panini Language Laboratory” (पाणिनी भाषा प्रयोगशाला) during World Hindi Conference in Port Louis, Mauritius today. On second day of the conference deliberations on Preservation of Indian Culture through Films (फिल्मो के माध्यम से भारतीय संस्कृति का संरक्षण), Communication Medium and Indian Culture, (संंचार माध्यम और भारतीय संस्कृति), Immigrant World: Language and Culture), (प्रवासी संसार: भाषा और संस्कृति) and Hindi Children”s Literature and Indian Culture (हिन्दी बाल साहित्य और भारतीय संस्कृति). Renowned Hindi lyricist, screenwriter and poet Prasoon Joshi and other eminent scholars from India and Mauritius will preside over these sessions. A discussion on “Future of Technology” will also be held in the morning. Minister of State for External Affairs M J Akbar will preside over the session.
A rich tribute was paid to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the first day of the conference. A two-minute silence was also observed as a mark of respect to the departed leader.
