Shooter Deepak Kumartoday bagged a Silver medal in the 18th Asian Games being held in Indonesia.This was India’s second medal in Shooting and it now has 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 1Bronze in its kitty. Deepak claimed the Silver in the Men’s 10-metre Air Rifleevent with a score of 247.7 points. China took home the Gold, while ChineseTaipei won the Bronze. The other Indian in the event, Ravi Kumar ended at thefourth spot.
In women’s 10-metreAir Rifle event, Apurvi Chandela has been eliminated in the final round after ashot of 9.8 as she finished fifth. China won the gold, Korea settled for silverwhile Mongolia won Bronze in the event.
Ravi and Apurvi hadclinched a Bronze medal in the Mixed Team category yesterday.
