Rajouri, Aug 24: Rajouri Police has arrested a man for smuggling liquor in Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
A team of police from Nowshera police station under the supervision of SHO Nowshera Romal Singh was on Bus stand Nowshera when they saw a man moving suspiciously who tried to hide himself from cops.
Sensing suspicion, cops apprehended the man who was identified as Sanjeev Kumar son of Mangat Ram resident of Laroka Nowshera.
Police team recovered a bag from him which was containing 13 bottles of Liquor.
The said person was arrested on spot and case FIR NO.172/18 U/S 48 – a Excise act has been registered in PS Nowshera.
