BJP alleges that entire Congress party and its leadership were involved in anti-sikh riots

BJP today came down heavily on Congress for its President Rahul Gandhi’s remarks that the grand old party was not involved in 1984 anti-sikh riots.

The party alleged that the entire Congress party and its leadership were involved in the anit-sikh riots.

Talking to reporters in New Delhi, BJP leader R P Singh hit out at Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for defending Mr. Gandhi over his remarks and said the opposition party is rubbing the salt on the wound of Sikhs.

He wondered at the Chief Minister’s comments that not the Congress but some of the individuals related to the party were involved.
