Cricket: England win toss, elects to bat against India

In Cricket, England were 34 for three against India in the fourth test of the five match series at Southampton a shortwhile ago.

Keaton Jennings was out for duck and skipper Joe Root for four runs. Jonny Bairstow made only six runs.

Jasprit Bumrah took the wickets of Jennings and Bairstow and Ishant Sharma the wicket of Root.

Earlier, England won the toss and elected to bat.

For the first time in 39 Tests that he has captained, Virat Kohli has fielded an unchanged eleven that won against England at Trent Bridge.

England have won the first two tests and India the third one.

The fifth and final test will be played in London from the 7th of next month.
