Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley today said, India is expected to surpass Britain next year to become world’s fifth largest economy. He said in New Delhi that India will be the fifth largest economy as this year, in terms of size, India has overtaken France and next year is likely to overtake Britain.
Mr. Jaitley said India has the potential to be among top three economies of the world in the next 10-20 years. The Finance Minister said other economies in the world are growing at much lesser rate.
