Person who offered house to Bangladeshis arrested from Satwari

Jammu: Three days after the arrest of the three Bangladeshis who were trying to enter Pakistan via Niki Tavi, near AMK Post located in RS Pura sector, the police today conducted raids at the residence of the persons who offered his house accommodation to live in, illegally .

Police identified the person as Raman Kumar of Rani Bagh, Satwari. Police arrested him from his residence after the trio Bangladeshis disclosed the police that they were living at Raman’s house for quite some time.The trio made disclosure during questioning in Joint Interrogation Centre (JIC),Jammu.

Pertinently on 28 August, the BSF personnel nabbed the three Bangladeshis trying to enter into Pakistan. Their identities were later identified as Mohammed Jahangir (18) son Sultan, Mohammad Ali (18) son Noor-ul-Din, a resident of Jilipir Mian Post Office, Sunnamandi and Abdul Karim (20), son of Abdul Tandim, Jatbabari, Post Office Shani District Sylhet.

According to the information, the troops of the Border Security Force were on patrol at around two in the morning on Monday. During this period, three Bangladeshi youths who came to Niki Tavi to enter Pakistan arrested three Bangladeshi youths. During this period, two smartphones, Indian currency of 630 rupees and five coins of Bangladesh were recovered from them.
