In boxing, former junior world champion boxer Sakshi Choudhary added the youth crown to her cabinet in the 57-kilogram category, claiming the gold at the World Youth Boxing in Budapest yesterday.
She beat Croatia’s Nikolina Cacic. Manisha and Anamika settled for silver medals in the 64 kg and 51 kg. categories.
Earlier, Jony and Astha Pahwa joined Bhavesh Kattimani, Ankit Khatana, Neha Yadav and Sakshi Gaidhani in settling for bronze medals after semifinal losses in various weight categories.
