John Isner ground out yet another five-set win at the U.S. Open beating Milos Raonic 3-6 6-3 6-4 3-6 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of his home Grand Slam for the second time. J. Del Potro of Argentina also qualified for the quarter-finals after beating his opponent in straight games.
Sixth seed Djokovic faces Portuguese Joao Sousa in the fourth round, while Federer plays Australian John Millman today. In Women’s singles today, American M. Keys will meet Slovak D. Cibulkova and A. Sabalenka of Belarus will face N. Osaka of Japan for a place in the quarter-finals.
