The benchmark domestic indices closed with losses for a second day today.
Amid mixed global stocks, the Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange lost 155 points, or 0.40 percent, to close at 38,158.
The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also declined 62 points, or 0.54 percent, to 11,526.
