Classes resumes in Pulwama

Pulwama, Sep 5: Classes resumed in educational institutions on Wednesday after remaining suspended on Tuesday in Pulwama in south Kashmir, where a youth was killed after security forces opened fire to disperse demonstrators during Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) on September 3.

Government Degree College (GDC) for boys and girls and Higher Secondary School (HSS), where class work was suspended on Tuesday as a precautionary measure are functioning on Wednesday. Similarly classes also resumed in Higher Secondary Schools (HSSs) in Pulwama, Rajpora and Kakpora tehsils.

However, all educational institutions were working normally elsewhere in the south Kashmir.

Fayaz Ahmad Wani was killed on September 3 when security forces opened fire to disperse demonstrators trying to disrupt CASO launched by the security forces at Gusoo in this district.
