Former Prime Minister of Nepal and Co-Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” is arriving in New Delhi this evening on a 4-day visit to India.
During his stay in New Delhi, Mr Prachanda is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and other leaders. He will also deliver a lecture at the Indian Council of World Affairs in New Delhi on “Recent Developments in Nepal and Advancing India-Nepal Partnership for Shared Prosperity” on Friday.
Talking to media at Tribhuvan International airport in Kathmandu before his departure for New Delhi, Mr. Prachanda said that development is the main agenda of the visit.
He said aim of the visit is to further enhance relations with India for prosperity and development of Nepal.
