The two-day meeting of BJP National Executive began in New Delhi today.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP Chief Amit Shah jointly inaugurated the meet.
The meeting is being attended by all national and state executive members.
BJP Veteran L K Advani along with senior party leaders and Union Ministers including Arun Jaitley, Rajnath Singh, Sushma Swaraj and Nitin Gadkari among are attending the meeting. Prime minister Modi is scheduled to give the valedictory speech tomorrow.
Current issues, strategy for upcoming assembly elections and general elections of 2019 are expected to be on the agenda of the meeting.
The national executive will also discuss ways to ensure how the work done by the Narendra Modi government can be taken to the people in the most effective manner.
Earlier, BJP President Amit Shah inaugurated the party’s office bearers meeting in New Delhi.
