Rs 52 lakh fraud: Police seek help in identifying accused in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sep 8: Jammu and Kashmir police has launched a massive hunt to nag two fraudsters who took Rs 52 lakh gold from a goldsmith in summer capital on Friday, Srinagar.

Police has now sought help to identify the fraudsters who were caught on CCTV camera in the shop.

A police spokesman said that a complaint was lodged in police station Shaheedgunj that two person have taken gold worth Rs 52 lakh from his shop.

He said the accused are wanted by police in a case FIR No 115/2018 U/S 420, 380 RPC.

The investigation has already been taken up, during which, CCTV footage has been obtained.

Seeking help to identify the accused, he said anybody having any information may kindly contact police station.
