Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog Dr Rajiv Kumar has said that India is on the verge of leading one of the most exciting transformations in the history of transportation.
Addressing the concluding session of Global Mobilty Summit in New Delhi last evening, Mr Kumar said, the new mobility paradigm will be more accessible and will provide cleaner solutions for the people of India and the world.
He said, transformation in the mobility sector requires a collaborative effort from states and all other stakeholders. He urged the automobile sector to confine to a timeline for achieving 100 per cent fully electric mobility solutions, powered by renewables.
In his address, CEO of NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant said, NITI Aayog will continue to do innovations in the field of mobility.
