Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina today inaugurated three Indo-Bangladesh joint venture projects including rail links and electricity transmission grid through video conferencing.
The projects are Kulaura-Shahbajpur Section Rehabilitation of Bangladesh Railway, Akhaura-Agartala Rail Connectivity and 500 MW power transmission.
Speaking on the occasion through video conferencing, Prime Minister Modi said in the last couple of years, India and Bangladesh have worked towards increasing connectivity.
He said, connectivity has vastly improved in the Railway sector as well.
