Super Typhoon Mangkhut is heading for the Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Rescue workers in Philippines yesterday said millions of people are at risk from this strong typhoon set to smash into the northern Philippines this weekend which could bring floods, landslides and huge waves to the disaster-prone nation.
Governor Manuel Mamba of the Philippines island of Cagayan said officials would start evacuating islanders today. He has already ordered schools and government offices to close.
