Srinagar, Sep 14: Body of a minor boy drowned in river Jehlum on Wednesday was fished out on Friday, official sources said.
They said a nine-year-old Rashid Reyaz , resident of Manzseer village drowned in river Jehlum at Seer Jagir on Wednesday when he was taking a bath.
A massive search operation was launched to recover the body.
However, this morning the body was fished out from river at Ladoora, Rafiabad, they said adding the body was handed over to legal heirs after completing legal formalities.
