Jammu, Sep 14: Police on Thursday arrested a woman drug peddler among two persons with over one kg cannabis in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.
On a tip-off, Police raided and conducted a search of a house of a drug peddler, identified as Shakeela Begum alias Taya.
”During a search, 1.125 kg cannabis (charas) was recovered from her possession,” police said.
They said a case under the NDPS Act was registered and an investigation started.
On her disclosure, one more drug peddler, namely Sheraz Ahmed of Dessa Road Doda was also arrested, they added.
