Nine injured while trying to put out fire in Uri market in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 16: At least nine persons suffered burn injuries while trying to put out a fire in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

Reports said fire broke out at Lone Complex in Uri market in which three shops and a residential quarter were damaged.

Nine people suffered burn injuries during the rescue operation.

All the injured were rushed to district hospital Baramulla for specialised treatment.

Fire tenders were pressed into service to douse the flames. The cause of the fire is being ascertained, reports said.
