In Iran, 24 people were killed and 53 wounded when unknown gunmen opened fire during a military parade in the southwestern city of Ahvaz today.
The state-run IRNA news agency said gunmen were dressed in Guard uniforms and targeted a riser where military and police commanders were sitting.
The News Agency reported that two gunmen were killed and other two were arrested. Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on Twitter that Iran will respond swiftly and decisively in defence of Iranian lives. meanwhile, No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
