The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved the construction of New Domestic Terminal Building and other allied structures at Patna airport at an estimated cost of over Rs 1216 crore.
After construction of the New Terminal Building, the passenger handling capacity of the airport will enhance to 45 lakh passengers per annum from existing seven lakh passengers.
With the construction of New Terminal Building, there will be an increase in economic activities in Patna region, which will create additional jobs.
