Life returns to normal after remaining crippled for 5 days in Bandipora

Srinagar, Sep 26: Life returned to normal, after remaining crippled for five days in north Kashmir district of Bandipora, where five militants were killed in an encounter with security forces on September 21.

Shops and business establishments re-opened on Wednesday morning and traffic was plying normally on all roads in Bandipora.

Meanwhile, majority of educational institutes witnessed a good number of student attendance, while work in government offices and banks also resumed on Wednesday morning.

Five militants were killed on Friday by security forces in an encounter, which ensued on Thursday, during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) at Shoukhbaba in Bandipora.
