The stock markets snapped their three-day losing streak today following the RBI’s announcement to shore up liquidity needs.

The Sensex at the Bombay Stock Exchange climbed 299 points to close at 36,526.

The Nifty at the National Stock Exchange also gained 78 points to 11,008.
