US President Trump threatens imposition of new tariffs on imports from China

US President Donald Trump yesterday threatened to impose new tariffs on an additional 267 billion US dollars worth of imports from China and asserted that there will be no deal with Beijing unless it changes its unfair trade practices.

Trump told reporters at a White House news conference that the US has  375 billion US dollars trade deficits.

On September 18, Trump had announced imposing new tariffs on an additional  200 billion US Dollars worth of imports from China, escalating the trade war with the Asian giant.
