POLLING BEGINS IN PHASE 2; OMAR CASTS ASPERSIONS

As per the reports made available by Election Commission of state, the polling has begun in all polling booths in second phase of elections. The statistical data released by commission reports the following percentage of voting at 8 am.
 
Anantnag – 0.4%, Bandipora – 4.3%, Baramulla – 1.1%, Kupwara – 2.1%, Srinagar – 0.2%, Kishtwar – 15.3%, Doda – 12.6%, Ramban – 12.4 %, Reasi – 16.6%, Udhampur – 10.3%, Kathua – 17.2%
 
Pertinent to mention National Conference chairperson and ex Chief Minister of state casts aspersions on change in poll timing. Omar Abdullah posted a tweet, 
 
” Why are polling booths opening at 6 am? If I believed conspiracy theories I’d believe it’s because journalists won’t be around to verify the genuineness of voters at that very early hour.”
