The effect of cyclonic storm TITLI is gradually weakening. Isolated rainfall has been recorded over Rayagada, Ganjam and Gajapati Districts in Odisha. Vast areas of these districts are now waterlogged and submerged under flood water.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has directed the Collectors of these districts to provide cooked food to people at multi purpose cyclone centers till their stay. He has also directed to submit report of damage within seven days.
In Andhra Pradesh the widespread damage has been reported from North Coastal area especially Srikakulam District. Road Services have been badly effected and power supply and telephone lines got disrupted. Uddhanam and sea-bed villages are most affected.
AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu conducted the aerial survey of the Titli effected areas. NDRF is undertaking relief operations and situation is coming to normalcy.
