Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today visited villages of the TITLI cyclone-affected areas and addressed people in Srikakulam District.
He reviewed the situation till late night yesterday and gave directions to the officials to bring normalcy at the earliest.
He asked them to restore power and drinking water supply immediately. Mr Naidu also held a teleconference meeting with the field staff and asked them to remain in the field to restore normalcy.
Road has been cleared in Srikakulam District. Mr Naidu has announced a compensation of 1200 rupees for a damaged coconut tree, 25 thousand rupees per hectare of cashew crop.
Meanwhile, officials and the NDRF teams are working hard to bring normalcy in the district.
