POONCH, OCTOBER 16: District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav today reviewed traffic management system in the district here at a meeting of concerned officers.
The meeting was attended by SSP Rajiv Pandey, ASP Adil Hameed, ARTO, DTI, Tehsildar Haveli and representatives of Bus stand Union and Taxi union of Poonch, Mandi and Surankote.
The issues related to traffic management were discussed in details including measures to keep check on the menace of overloading, wrong parking, over speeding and rash driving. The meeting also discussed to provide permissions for new routes.
The meeting recommended for strict action against the overloading, over speeding and wrong parking on the roads by busses taxis or private vehicles. It was decided to lift the wrongly parked vehicles by towing vans.
