J&K: Counting of votes for 52 civic bodies underway: BJP wins 21 out of 36 declared wards seats in Jammu Municipal corporation

In Jammu and Kashmir,  the counting for the recently held Urban Local Body elections is underway and the results have started coming out.  For  Jammu Municipal Corporation results of 36 wards have been declared so far. The BJP which has won 21 wards is far ahead of its rivals.
Independents have bagged 12 wards. Congress has won three wards.
In Samba district BJP has emerged victorious in 7 wards, followed by Independents in 6 wards. Congress has won from 2 wards while one ward has been bagged by an Independent candidate.
In Katra, BJP  won 5 wards, followed by Congress 2   and an Independent won one ward.
In Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian National Congress party has won all 13 wards of the Municipal Committee of Leh.
