In Badminton, Indian shuttlers Kidambi Srikanth and Saina Nehwal have entered the quarterfinals of the French Open.
In Paris today, Srikanth defeated South Korean Lee Dong-keun 12-21, 21-16, 21-18 in the men’s singles quarterfinals while Saina beat Japanese Nozomi Okuhara 10-21, 21-14, 21-17 in the women’s singles.
P.V. Sindhu will take on another Japanese Sayaka Sato in women’s singles and B. Sai Praneeth will shuttle it out against Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie in the men’s singles tonight.
The Men’s Doubles pairs of Satwiksairaj and Chirag Shetty, and Manu Attri and B. Sumeeth Reddy, and the Women’s Doubles team of Meghana Jakkampudi and Poorvisha S. Ram will also play their Round-of-16 matches tonight.
