The gruesome murder of Dilip Langer on Deepawali eve inside the premises of KK Resort, Jammu has created huge uproar in entire jammu society in general and Kashmiri Pandit community in particular. The cremation of DIlip Langer a Rainawarian which took place yesterday after postmortem was attended by hundreds of community members from all walks of life and a tearful adieu was bid to Dilip Langer.
Many prominent faces which included Devender Rana, a prominent NC leader, Surender Ambardar and Ajay Bharati , MLCs, Ravinder Raina president ASKPC, Dr T K Bhat, General Secretary ASKPC, Ravinder Jalali, Panun Kashmir, B L Jalali, Rainawari KP Action Committee and many prominent KP faces paid rich and glowing tributes to the departed soul.
Later in an emergency meeting of the Rainawari KP Action Committee held in connection the gruesome murder of Dileep Langer who was the executive member of RKPAC , social activist and a Senior Officer of a PSU it was resolved that the community will hold a protest demonstration outside Press Club, Jammu on 11-11-2018 (Sunday) at 10 am, to impress upon the police department and administration to bring perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.
In the meeting the unprecedented act of brutal murder was condemned and it was impressed upon the government that the
- The culprits should be brought to book immediately and justice given to the aggrieved .
- That there should be thorough investigation as why there was no security in the Campus and how the goons have entered the campus and what was their moto.
- Operation of the Bar in the Marriage Banquet Hall & Lodging complex should be immediately stopped.
- The aggrieved family should be suitably compensated and the senior administration officer should visit the family appraising them about the steps being initiated to accord justice.
RKPAC will watch that meaningful action is taken as the community is shocked on this incident and want fair justice should be done so such acts are not re occurred. The meeting was attended by B.L.Jalali, President, D.N.Koul, Gen Secretary, Kishore Mattoo, KJ Bhat, A K Raina and other prominent citizens.
