Union Minister Gadkari announces Rs. 8,500 cr package for Chandrapur district of Maharashtra

Union Road, Transport and Water Resources Minister, Nitin Gadkari has announced a package of Rs. 8,500 crore for Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.

The package comprises 576 km roads, a bridge, and other developmental works.
Addressing a public meeting in Bamni near Chandrapur, the minister emphasised on completion of the Gosikhud irrigation project.

Later, Mr. Gadkari laid foundation stone of “Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology or “CIPET” in Tadali, Chandrapur district
