Mortal remains of Union Minister Ananth Kumar being cremated with full state honours

The mortal remains of Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ananth Kumar being cremated with full state honours  in a short while from now.

Union Minister D.V.Sadananda Gowda, Karnataka State Minister D.K. Shivakumar, Legislative Council Chairman Basavaraj Horatti, BJP State President B.S.Yedyurappa and many other leaders and thousands of people were present.

Earlier, the mortal remains of Kumar were kept in National College Grounds in Basavanagudi to facilitate the public to pay their last respects to their beloved leader.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his last respects to Ananth Kumar at the departed leader’s residence in Basavanagudi, last night and consoled the family members.  According to reports that Vice President M.Venkiah Naidu paid homage to Ananth Kumar and consoled the family members today morning.

Earlier Union Ministers Nirmala Seetharaman, Prakash Javadekar, Dharmendra Pradhan, D.V. Sadananda Gowda, Arjunram Meghwawl, Gajendra Singh Shekawat, State BJP Chief B.S.Yeddyurappa and many RSS Leaders paid their last respects to Ananth Kumar.
