Campaigning for final phase of Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh ends today; 72 constituencies go to the polls on Tuesday

Campaigning for the second and final phase of Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh will end this evening.  Polling will be held in 72 constituencies spread across 19 districts on Tuesday.

Leaders of many political parties have been campaigning to woo the voters in their favours.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address an election rally at Mahasamund today.

BJP President Amit Shah and Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi addressed public meetings in the state yesterday.

In the first phase of the Assembly elections, polling was held in 18 Maoist affected constituencies on 12th of this month.
