Joint Indo-Russian military exercise culminated at Babina military station

In Uttar Pradesh, 11 days long joint military exercise between India and Russia culminated yesterday at Babina Military station, Jhansi. The Tenth Edition of the joint military exercise in the series of Exercise INDRA 2018 was aimed to develop interoperability and a common understanding of transnational terrorism between the armies of both countries for joint tactical level operations in the peacekeeping enforcement environment under the aegis of UN.

Company sized contingents of the 5th Army of Russia and a Mechanised Infantry Battalion of India participated in the training exercise.
