A security personnel posted in security at guarding the official residence of DC Srinagar fell unconscious after his service rifle went off accidentally.
The SSB trooper was hospitalized after he felt unconscious following accidental misfire from his service rifle at Sonwar , Dal Gate area of Srinagar.
Station House Officer (SHO), Rammunshi Bagh, Mohd Ishaq stated that the trooper “An incident of accidental misfire from the service rifle of SSB guard K Upan Singh of 36 Battalion took place in the premises of DC Srinagar and he fell unconscious, he has been taken to nearby Military Hospital and he is absolutely fine.”
Interacting with Epilogue DC Srinagar Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said, “A paramilitary cop posted at my official residence was shifted for routine medical checkup following an accidental fire this afternoon. The bullet hit a wall and in milue the trooper fell unconscious for a moment, but he is absolutely fine.”
