The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday inaugurated its Central Control War Room at its headquarters here, consisting of 20 members core team.
The central war room is said to be connected to seven war rooms located across all Lok Sabha constituencies in the city-state.
AAP’s Delhi unit convenor Gopal Rai told ANI that the Central War Room will function as the nerve centre for the Lok Sabha elections and will remain connected 24×7 with seven other war rooms across Delhi.
The core team includes members from different units, who have to provide daily feedback from their units and collate reports on their unit’s performance.
”The foremost task of the team at the Central office is to ensure that we have daily progress reports from all seven constituencies. This work is monitored round the clock by a 20-member core team,” he said.
Senior party volunteer Suresh Kathait is said to be in charge of the internal party coordination and communication unit.
The important units of the control war comprise media, social media, technical support, frontal organisations reporting, relevant Election Commission permissions, manifesto preparation, daily research issues, daily reports from observers in all 70 constituencies, and exposing lies of opponents.
”AAP has appointed coordinators from the Central War Room in each Lok Sabha constituency. These seven coordinators will communicate with 10 observers,” said Rai.
Rai also delivered a live demonstration of the Central Control War Room which showed how the core team connects and coordinates with the field teams, the mode, and signals for communication and feedback.
