NO PRE POLL OR POST POLL ALLIANCE WITH BJP OR ANY NATIONAL PARTY : J&K Peoples Conference

In what can be termed as a set back to the prospects of BJP venturing into the political sphere of Kashmir valley, its close aide and coliation partner J&K Peoples Conference has decided to go alone in Parliamentary and Assembly elections in state.

J&K Peoples conference headed by Sajad Lone has decided to call it a day and unceremoniously end its relation with BJP over various contagious issues.

Talking to Epilogue, J&K People’s Conference media in-charge Adnan Mir said, “The coalition with BJP was limited to the last Assembly elections and the Assembly has been dissolved, that arrangement was dissolved with that,’ adding that his party is fighting the elections alone.

Further, Adnan Mir said, “We will have no pre poll or post poll arrangement with any National party,” adding that a wrong notion has been spread about the continuation of the arrangement with BJP.

Political analysts are saying that J&K Peoples conference leader had come under tremendous flak from his party and friends after BJP released its manifesto and listed the abrogation of Article 370 as one of its commitments.
